The Ramazanov Award Foundation presented its first award to Jade Beutler, CEO of Lignan Research LLC. Mr. Beutler also serves as CEO of Barleans Oils. The foundation, named for the late industry scientist Dr. Zakir Rama­zanov, recognizes scientists and professionals working in the area of nutrition whose dedication has contributed to significant evidence-based improvement in people’s health and well-being. As the first Ramazanov Foundation Award recipient, Mr. Beutler joins the foundation’s board, along with several other new appointments, including Mark Blumenthal, Anthony Almada and Wendy Wang.
